Principle

For your support,the Federal Office of Information Technology and Telecommunications (FOITT) is not responsible, but rather the administrative unit whose application you intend to use.

End-to-End Responsibility

Your support by the administrative unit whose application you intend to use must be provided across the entire usage journey—from registration, to login, to the use of the application. The administrative unit has internal escalation options for technical special cases. The administrative unit may delegate end-to-end responsibility and communicate the resulting support contacts accordingly.

Procedure for you

  1. Self-help: The Federal Administration supports several million e-government end users. Therefore, it is absolutely essential that you use the help articles on to assist yourself whenever possible.
  2. Contact the responsible administrative unit: Open a support ticket on ; it will automatically be forwarded to the administrative unit responsible for your case. Alternatively, you may use any contact information published by this administrative unit as the support organization for its applications.
